Izmir Biomedicine and Genome Centre (IBG) successfully completed the 2nd Experimental Animal Use Certificate Course, which supports the use of experimental animals in scientific research in line with ethical rules and aims to equip participants with the knowledge and skills at international standards. The training program, which took place between 7 - 16 September 2024, focused on rodent species used in experimental studies.

"The training, which was designed in accordance with the 'Circular on Experimental Animal Use Certificate Training Program' issued by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, offered participants a comprehensive learning experience that included both theoretical and practical components. While the theoretical portion of the hybrid course was delivered online, the practical training sessions took place at the Vivarium, IBG's state-of-the-art animal experimentation laboratory."

Upon successful completion of the training program and examination, participants were entitled to receive the Experimental Animals Use Certificate.
