Vivarium Unit

İBG-Vivaryum Rodent Unit
IBG Vivarium is a service unit that provides high-standard in vivo model support for studies in various fields of biotechnology, including regenerative medicine, cancer research, drug screening, and artificial organ development. Serving both internal and external researchers, IBG Vivarium also contributes directly to research projects.
IBG Vivarium holds all necessary legal permits for the production, use, and supply of mouse, rat, rabbit, guinea pig, hamster, and gerbil species. It is also one of the few authorized centers in the country permitted to conduct research on genetically modified organisms (GMOs). Covering a closed area of 2,700 m², the vivarium has the infrastructure to accommodate up to 7,000 animals, enabling large-scale experimental studies.
In our facility, animal welfare and physiological needs are prioritized in the housing and care of laboratory animals. All experimental procedures are conducted under isolated and controlled microenvironmental conditions. Our laboratory is equipped with both individually ventilated cages (IVC) systems and conventional cages, ensuring a standardised, healthy microenvironment for each animal.
With our advanced infrastructure and expertise, we provide strong support to scientific research at every stage of the preclinical process.
