Biomedical Device and Technology Development Group
The Biomedical Devices and Technologies Group develops optical imaging technologies along with optical, electrochemical, and nanophotonic sensor platforms in the fields of biomedical diagnostics and life sciences. Its research encompasses real-time optical imaging, systems for detecting molecules and cells at ultra-low levels, advanced therapeutic probes, and photodynamic therapy technologies. AI-assisted imaging and nanomaterial-based sensors enable rapid and reliable disease diagnosis and treatment. The group aims to offer innovative point-of-care testing (POCT) solutions across a wide range of applications-from clinical practice to food safety and environmental monitoring.
