Translational Research Group
The Translational Research Group investigates the molecular mechanisms of neurodegenerative diseases and cancer. The Translational Neurodegeneration Laboratory develops early diagnostic and neuroprotection strategies using microglial cell models and blood-based biomarkers. Translational cancer research examines organ-specific metastasis processes in detail using three-dimensional models and omics analyses to identify new antimetastatic targets and drug candidates.
