IBG Handover Ceremony
Prof. Dr. Bayram YILMAZ took over the position from Prof. Dr. İhsan GÜRSEL with the handover ceremony held and became a new Director of IBG Center.
The ceremony took place at Izmir Biomedicine and Genome Center at Aziz Sancar Auditorium Hall, with the participation of all center members. Speaking at the ceremony, Prof. Dr. İhsan GÜRSEL stated that he handed over the task he had been carrying out for nearly two years to Prof. Dr. Bayram YILMAZ and thanked his colleagues with whom he worked with. He wished Prof. Dr. Bayram YILMAZ success in his new position. Prof. Dr. Bayram YILMAZ thanked Prof. Dr. İhsan GÜRSEL for his efforts and said, 'We will work intensively with our team to carry the Center we have inherited to higher levels.'
