Prof. Dr. Bayram YILMAZ, Director of IBG, has been elected to the IUPS Academy
Prof. Dr. Bayram YILMAZ, Director of Izmir Biomedicine and Genome Center (IBG), has been elected a Fellow of the International Union of Physiological Sciences (IUPS) Academy of Physiology.
Prof. Dr. Yılmaz became the only Turkish researcher accepted to the International Union of Physiological Sciences Academy in 2024, which includes Nobel Prize winners.
The Academy of Physiology, launched in 2021 by the International Union of Physiological Sciences (IUPS), which aims to advance physiological research and teaching and ensure that they can be transformed into benefits for health and society, accepts a small number of researchers in the world, including Nobel Prize winners, as Fellows.
