TÜBİTAK 1004 EKSPOZOM Platform came together focusing on the health impacts of climate change and environmental pollution

TUBITAK 1004 EKSPOZOM Platform project coordinators and researchers, of which Izmir Biomedicine and Genome Center (IBG) is the manager and applicant, came together at IBG to discuss potential studies in the context of project evaluation and collaboration.

İBG, Dokuz Eylül University, Yeditepe University, Ankara University, Sabancı University, İzmir Kâtip Çelebi University, Afyonkarahisar Health Sciences University, AKKİM Kimya and AGON Biotechnology San. ve Tic. Ltd. Şti. and the members of the platform evaluated the application submitted under the TÜBİTAK 1004 Program.

A workshop titled "Climate Change, Environmental Pollution and Human Health" was also held at the meeting to strengthen the ecosystem and guide new studies. In the workshop, scientific results in this field were evaluated broadly and potential research topics were discussed with the project managers. An international symposium on Exposome was planned for September 2024.
