TÜBİTAK President Prof. Dr. Hasan MANDAL’s IBG visit

TÜBİTAK President Prof. Dr. Hasan MANDAL visited our university (Dokuz Eylül University, DEÜ) and our center (Izmir Biomedicine and Genome Center, IBG).

Prof. Mandal, who visited IBG with the Vice Rector of DEÜ Prof. Dr. Aynur Akay, attended the IBG introductory meeting at the Aziz Sancar Auditorium. Following the meeting, he visited the laboratories of the centre.

Commenting on the successful work of IBG, which was established within the scope of Law No. 6550, Prof. Mandal indicated that these kinds of centres ought to set an example for our country.
