EMBO Information Days
Our country has been a member of the European Molecular Biology Organization (EMBO) since 1993, one of the leading organizations in molecular life sciences. EMBO provides to the scientists, doctoral students and post-doctoral researchers of the member countries, Long Term (12-24 months) and Short Term (0-6 months) Scholarships, and Placement Support (3-5 years). In addition, it has programs for Practical / Theoretical Courses, Workshops, Young Researcher Programs, Women in Science, and Science and Society Programs (http://embo.org/funding-awards). EMBO Information Days are organized by TUBITAK International Cooperation Department, Bilateral and Multi Relations Directorate on 16-18 April 2019 in order for our scientists to get maximum benefit from EMBO support and programs. One of these activities will be held on April 17, 2019 at Izmir Biomedicine and Genome Center in Izmir. EMBO Communications Director, Dr. Tilmann Kiessling will provide information about EMBO support programs, therefore the event will be held in English.
