Izmir Biomedicine and Genome Center (IBG) is looking for a full-time Education and Communication Specialist to perform in Education and Communication Department
Desired Qualifications:
    •    Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from the Communication, Business Administration, Psychology, Sociology, Education,Journalism, Public Relations and Promotion, Radio, Television and Cinema and other related fields of universities,
    •    At least 2 years of experience
    •    Skills including but not limited to: advanced organization skills, strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
    •    Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
    •    Proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs
    •    Completed military service for male candidates
 Duties and Responsibilities:
    •     Using of all kinds of media and communication channels to increase, maintain and manage for promoting IBG
    •    Making promotions and announcements of IBG on social media and following the current developments on social media platforms,
    •    Developing strategies for making known of research and developments conducted at IBG publicly,
    •    Collecting, researching and preparing of communication materials for external and internal audiences,
    •    Organizing events including conferences, exhibitions, press tours,
    •    To be the contact person between the IBG and members of the media, news agencies, consumers and other members,
    •    Providing communication with the relevant units to check the accuracy of scientific news published in the media and related to IBG,
    •    Active participation in the events organized at IBG,
    •    Taking part in IBG promotional activities, working together with the relevant offices,
    •    Organizing educational activities within IBG.
