IBG-Teaching & Training Presentation by Dr. Gerhard Wingender

On November 21st 2024, Dr. Gerhard Wingender will give a Teaching & Training presentation discussing ‘Authorship and Reproducibility of Science’.

This interactive presentation will discuss two questions:

 (1) Who should be an author? Please think about what criteria you would choose to judge whether someone should be listed on a scientific publication.

(2) Do we have a reproducibility crisis in science? Please think about whether you had problems reproducing published data, does science has a structural problem with reproducibility, and if yes, what could be done.
