Operating on a different optical architecture than traditional imaging, confocal microscopes are now the preferred method for acquiring high-quality qualitative data across many fields of biomedical research.
This one-day training organized by the Izmir Biomedicine and Genome Center (IBG) will cover advanced confocal microscopy workflows, super-resolution applications, and essential imaging details. The program consists of two sessions—Theoretical and Practical—designed to provide participants with both a conceptual foundation and hands-on laboratory experience.
Theoretical Session: Application of optical principles in confocal microscopy, operating principles of the equipment, sample preparation, and image evaluation processes.
Practical Session: Live imaging on various samples provided by IBG and hands-on training on software interface management.
Capacity: Limited to 12 participants (Practical sessions will be conducted in groups of 6).
Certification: A "Certificate of Participation" will be awarded upon completion of the course.
