As part of the NanoBio4Can Project, an advanced hands-on laser scanning confocal microscopy training session was held at the Izmir Biomedicine and Genome Center (IBG) for project researchers. Following comprehensive theoretical presentations by Optical Imaging Unit Supervisor Aslı Seren and Researcher Hatice Asena Şanlı, the program continued with practical demonstrations conducted by the Zeiss team.
During the event, researchers had the opportunity to gain in-depth knowledge on the principles of confocal microscopy, sample preparation workflows, imaging parameters, and data analysis. The hands-on segment introduced the advanced functionalities of the system, aiming to equip participants with the technical capabilities required to achieve higher efficiency in their research.
IBG aims to expand similar training activities in line with its scientific collaborations to further strengthen researchers’ technical capacity and support the generation of high-quality scientific outputs.
