The Rare and Undiagnosed Diseases Platform (IBG-RUDiP) was established within the IBG in line with the mission of the EU Horizon 2020-supported ERA Chairs RareBoost project (https://rareboost.ibg.edu.tr/).
RUDiP aims to improve the diagnosis, understanding, and treatment of rare and undiagnosed diseases through a multidisciplinary and collaborative research approach.
RUDiP brings together 25 investigators, with diverse expertise relevant to rare and undiagnosed diseases. By combining this broad area of expertise, RUDiP enables the study of rare diseases from multiple angles using state-of-the-art research tools.
RUDiP members convene in monthly ‘Rare and Undiagnosed Diseases Advisory Board Meetings’ which bring together clinicians and researchers to discuss challenging undiagnosed clinical cases. These meetings support collaborative diagnosis efforts and guide further investigations to better understand the underlying mechanisms of rare diseases.
To present a case in the advidory board meetings or for more information, please contact RareBoost’s Administrative Research Assistant, Ms. Unal at kubra.unal@ibg.edu.tr
RUDiP is open to national and international collaborations. We invite you to explore the research profiles of our investigators to learn more about their ongoing projects and potential opportunities for partnership.
